Hoop Raiders . . . Certified Champs! PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, March 08 2009 18:13

Our Hoop Raiders heated things up this Winter by winning Championships in both Impact and ARC Leagues in the same weekend. First, our Silver Team took first place in Impact Gold Division by beating Yeshiva in the finals 48-45. DeAnthony Melton put on an all-star performance with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 steals. Then our 11u Team "de-certified" the Certified Shooters in the ARC Big Ten Division defeating the first place seed team 48-47. Ethan Ardalan led the attack with 21 points, 5 steals and 2 assists, along with DeAnthony Melton who had 8 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 steals! But it was the solid determination and tenacious defense by each and every one of our players that ultimately led the teams to dual victories this weekend. Go Hoop Raiders!
